Welcome to Fitzlew’s Georgia Daily Digest
Georgia is changing, politically and culturally. Although Atlanta and its environs will continue to be important, Georgia’s other cities, and the suburbs and small communities surrounding those cities, are expanding their influence in shaping Georgia’s attitudes, politics and culture.
This change is documented daily in Georgia’s newspapers and through its broadcast outlets, and this web site is dedicated to highlighting the news that tells Georgia’s changing story. Each day at the Georgia Daily Digest, we screen Georgia’s news outlets to collect all of the news you need to know about Georgia on one web page. We hope you find it to be the best source of Georgia news and information on the web.
Some of the web sites we direct you to for stories may require that you register for access. We encourage everyone to register and support Georgia’s news organizations. When you register, you assist these organizations in understanding how you use their news and it reinforces the importance of covering Georgia’s politics, government and lifestyles. We support Georgia’s newspapers and broadcast stations, and we strongly encourage everyone to subscribe to their local Georgia newspaper.
We post the day’s news each morning by 8:30 a.m. on weekdays (10 a.m. on weekends and holidays) and will provide updates as Georgia news develops, so be sure to check back throughout the day. In the coming months, we will be adding services in addition to the Georgia Daily Digest of news and information.
